5/8 The New Time of Milan

Fifth from our new capsule collection of eight exclusive clocks is ‘’The New Time of Milan’’ by Edoardo Piccione and Marco Carlone. The clock is composed by five layers of plexiglass mounted together, each of them depicting a different part of the city of Milan, printed on the transparent plexiglass. The layering of the panels creates a unique interplay between recognizable monuments and areas of the city, resulting in a complex palimpsest that attempts to capture the temporal aspect of urban life.
