Stripes

Lamp made of extremely light and transparent Afyon White marble, with a thickness of only 3 mm. The diffuser and the internal part necessary to fix the lamp holder are both made entirely of marble.

The shape is created by waterjet cutting: starting from a single 2 cm slab of marble, thin concentric rings are obtained that overlap, composing the various patterns and proportions of the lamps. The cutting process has been designed in order to create more lamp formats from the same series of concentric cuts, allowing a considerable saving of materials and processing waste.
